On the morning of December 15, two Russian tankers "Volgoneft 212" and "Volgoneft-239" sank near the Kerch Strait. According to Russian mass media, the vessel broke in half.

As he writes Astra, tankers transported oil products, in particular fuel oil. As a result of the accident, it began to flow into the sea. Volgoneft 212 was the first to start sinking.

According to various sources, there are 212-13 crew members on Volgoneft 14. The weight of the fuel oil that was transported was 4300 tons. The powerful waves of the stormy sea broke his hull in half.

Later, in the same area behind the tanker "Volgoneft-212", another one - "Volgoneft-239" sank. Fuel oil flows into the sea.

The footage from the scene of the accidents shows that the ships are sinking. The Russians are trying to organize a rescue operation. Currently, it is not known how the Russian Federation will eliminate the environmental consequences of the two accidents.
