62- a summer resident of the village of Usatovo set fire to his house, and then blew himself up with a grenade. It happened yesterday evening, October 17.
According to the police, the man called 102 and stated that he was armed and wanted to surrender to law enforcement officers. Arriving security forces found a drunk man who was holding a pistol in one hand and a grenade in the other. He threatened to detonate a grenade and set fire to the house if anyone approached him.
The house of an armed brawler was surrounded. They held three-hour negotiations with him and persuaded him to lay down his arms. But the police did not manage to persuade the man under the degree. The resident of the village did not give in to the agreement and first set fire to the house, and after some time blew himself up with a grenade.
When the police got to the house, they found two pistols and a Kalashnikov assault rifle. The remains of an exploded RGD-5 grenade were also found in the building.
At the moment, the exact reason for the death of the deceased is unknown. According to neighbors, a conflict occurred in his family the day before.
Meanwhile, the investigators classified the event under two articles: "intentional murder marked as "suicide" and "illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives." All material evidence and the body of the deceased were sent for examination. Now the police are establishing the origin of prohibited items. The investigation is ongoing.
