An increase in radiation was recorded in the Chernobyl zone. This is reported by the State Inspection of Nuclear Regulation.
"Data from the Automated System of Radiation Control of the Exclusion Zone, available online, indicate that the control levels of the dose of gamma radiation (red dots) have been exceeded at a significant part of the monitored points. As a result of the occupation and hostilities, it is still impossible to establish the reasons for the change in the radiation background indicators in the zone," the message says.
