During the Washington NATO summit, the leaders of 21 countries, as well as representatives of the European Union, signed a final agreement in support of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who also signed the document, is sure that this is an outstanding achievement in the field of security. On the outcome of the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance, the president posted in the Telegram channel.
Zelenskyy explained that the final agreement, which was called the "Ukraine Compact" (Ukraine Compact, "Ukrainian contract"), was moving, starting with the Vilnius summit. During the year, it was possible to sign 23 security agreements, and he is sure that there will be more.
"I thank President Biden for his leadership and all the efforts aimed at filling our security cooperation with decisive actions." - reads the president's message.
According to the head of state, the "Ukrainian contract" brings cooperation with partners to a new level.
