On October 5, a grandiose large-scale study, which has no analogues in the country, was completed in Ukraine - the National Influence Rating "Elite of Ukraine".
This project, established by the International Expert Club and rating agency "ElitExpert", was entered into the National Register of Records of Ukraine in September 2020 as the largest rating in the entire history of the independence of our state.
A team of two hundred international and Ukrainian specialists, high-class professionals with an impeccable reputation, and numerous online users selected the most worthy people from 5360 participants from all corners of the country for two months.
On October 5, one hundred of the best representatives of the new elite, chosen by the Ukrainian people, were announced - those whose activities are as effective and useful as possible for society.
As Elena Ovchinnikova, the head of the ranking organizing committee and the chairman of the board of the International Expert Club, told, the list of the hundred best representatives of the elite included both politicians and honored athletes, people in the creative profession, government and business representatives, philanthropists and public figures.
As explained in the Organizing Committee, for experts, the defining criteria for candidates were education and responsibility. Those who are able to take responsibility for the people in the zone of their influence scored the most points.
Due to this, in the ranking, many representatives of the old elites gave way to new faces, but objectively the current president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, as the brightest representative of the new elite, headed the list.
For example, in the top thirty list there are many representatives of culture - people's artists Nina Matvyenko, Ada Rogovtseva, Sofia Rotaru, athletes Vladimir Klitschko, Alexander Usyk and Andriy Shevchenko, big businessmen and philanthropists Alexey Vadatursky, Viktor Pinchuk, Adnan Kivan, politicians - Leonid Kuchma, Andrey Ermak, Dmitry Razumkov and many others.
The spiritual fathers of the nation are also present in the list - in particular, Metropolitan Epiphany, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Svyatoslav Shevchuk, Metropolitan Onufriy.

In general, the organizers of the project paid special attention to the research methodology, for which they took into account the experience of similar, but much smaller-scale projects. For this purpose, a 100-point scale was developed - an effective instrument that ensured maximum objective voting and eliminated the subjectivity of experts through a large number of points.
"ElitExpert" REFERENCE: The first round of the project started on September 1 in all regions of the country, except ORDLO and AR Krym.
A team of two hundred Ukrainian and international experts created lists of honored people in 24 regions of Ukraine, whose activities are as effective and useful as possible for society. In the five most densely populated regions — Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv — the number of participants was 300, in the other nineteen regions — 200 each.
Among the 5300 participants in the rating were politicians, businessmen, public and religious figures, as well as representatives of government, culture, sports, science and education, health care and mass media.
On September 21, the results of the First, regional stage of voting were summarized. A team of two hundred experts and numerous online users selected the most worthy people from the 5300 participants of the first round — a total of 100 people in each region.
In the second, all-Ukrainian round of the rating, 240 more influential persons of the state level who did not take part in the regional round of voting were added to the 60 persons of the regional scale, representing the top ten in each of the regions of the country.
The final stage of the rating will be the National Forum of Strategic Development, which will be held in Kyiv in March 2021. Its participants will be laureates of regional and national ratings, and world leaders, businessmen and senior government officials of Ukraine will be invited as speakers.
