Traitors of Ukraine are deprived of state awards of Ukraine: the President signed the relevant decree

The maximum set of sanctions — 21 species — was applied to ten of them

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed a decree to deprive 34 traitors of Ukraine of state awards. The corresponding document is published on official website head of the Ukrainian state.

With this decree, Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to deprive Ukraine of traitors with state awards.

"The list of traitors includes former government officials, people's deputies, heads of the SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office, prosecutors, artists, Russian political, religious and cultural figures. All of them have been deprived of state awards of Ukraine indefinitely." - said in the message.

In addition, as reported, the maximum set of sanctions — 21 types — was applied to ten of them, including the blocking of assets, the cancellation of licenses and permits, and the complete suspension of trade operations.

Among them, sanctions were applied to seven for the first time. In particular, he is the former first deputy leader of the political party "Party of Regions" and the head of the relevant faction Oleksandr Efremov. He had the Order of Merit I-III degree and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V degree.

Also on the list is the former First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin, who previously received the Order of Merit II-III degrees and the title "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine".

Eight persons who are already under other sanctions of Ukraine were deprived of state awards of Ukraine, in particular, a former People's Deputy of II-IV and IX convocations Victor Medvedchuk, who was awarded the Order of Merit I-III degrees and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V degree, had the title "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine".

The list also includes the former Minister of Education and Science (2010–2014) Dmytro Tabachnyk, who had orders of Prince Yaroslav the Wise IV-V degrees and the title "Honored Worker of Science and Technology".

The former Prime Minister of Ukraine (2010–2014 during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych) was stripped of the Orders of Merit I-III degrees and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V degree, as well as the title "Honored Economist of Ukraine" Mykola Azarov.

In addition, the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine (2010–2014) was deprived of the state award of Ukraine Victor Pshonka. He had the Order of Merit of the III degree, and Andriy Derkach, a former People's Deputy of the III-IX convocations. He had the Order "For Merit" of the 3rd degree.

Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church and former KGB agent Patriarch Kirill deprived of the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise 1st degree.

The message also states that Russian singers are deprived of the honorary title "People's Artist of Ukraine" Mykola Baskov, Philip Kirkorov, Oleksandr Malinin, Russian composer Igor Krutoy, and singers Karolina Kuek (Ani Lorak) and Taisiya Povaliy — also the title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
