Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Paris on January 6 to participate in the leaders' summit of the Coalition of the Willing. The Ukrainian delegation was joined by a new leader, Kyrylo Budanov.
Zelensky will hold a number of meetings, including with French President Emmanuel Macron and a US delegation, presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov said.
According to the French side, today's meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" is the first time that leaders have gathered since March last year (35 participants, including 27 heads of state and government, - ed.). The key moment is the personal presence of the American delegation consisting of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Hrynkevich.
The visit's agenda includes talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, a working lunch with US representatives, and a meeting of 27 leaders to finalize five points of the security strategy, including control of the front line and the deployment of multinational forces.
A joint press conference between Zelensky and the leaders of the E3 format: Macron, as well as German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, is also expected.
In the evening, there will also be a separate meeting between the Ukrainian negotiating team led by the president and the American delegation.
