President Volodymyr Zelensky is not yet ready to sign an agreement with the United States on access to Ukrainian minerals. The reason for this is "problematic issues" in the draft agreement. This is reported by Sky News.
The publication's source notes that the agreement "is not yet ready for signing, there are a number of problematic issues, and in its current draft form, the president is not ready to accept it."
"Currently, the projects do not reflect the partnership in the agreement and contain only unilateral obligations on the part of Ukraine," — said the Sky News interlocutor.
Instead, US President Donald Trump has said the parties are close to approving a deal. US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz said this week that a deal will be made.
