Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga will travel to New York as part of a Ukrainian delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelensky. The visit will take place from September 21 to 26. This was reported in press service Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ukrainian delegation will participate in the high-level events of the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Sybiga will host a number of separate events, including a thematic discussion on energy sustainability and green recovery in Ukraine.
An important part of the visit is a series of bilateral and multilateral negotiations between the President and the Foreign Minister with colleagues from different regions of the world - from Europe and North America to Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will lead the Ukrainian delegation to the UN General Assembly in New York. The high-level week of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly will last from September 23 to 29.
Zelensky is expected to meet with US President Donald Trump. Zelensky said the leaders will discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.
A summit on the return of Ukrainian children and the Crimean Platform will also be held in New York.
