Germany reported that Chancellor Friedrich Merz will also travel with Zelensky to Trump. According to Sky News, the Ukrainian president will also be accompanied by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The meeting will also be joined by French President Emmanuel Macron, Finnish President Alexander Stubbs, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that he will also be present during the talks at the White House on August 18.
He stated that "is ready to support this next stage of further negotiations and will confirm that its support for Ukraine will continue for as long as necessary."
