President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a detailed report of the negotiating team on contacts with the American side and instructed to finalize a document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the United States. Zelenskyy reported this in Telegram.
According to Zelensky, the parties discussed the work schedule for the next two weeks - planned meetings, preparation of documents, and possible signing of agreements.
The President instructed to complete work on the document on security guarantees and submit it for consideration at the highest level.
"This should be a historical document, and that is exactly the level the text is reaching now," — Zelensky emphasized.
Reconstruction and economic partnership
Special attention during the meeting was paid to documents on the reconstruction and economic development of Ukraine. The President instructed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, and Minister Oleksiy Sobolev to provide full support and expertise on all economic aspects of future agreements between Ukraine and the United States, as well as trilateral agreements in the Ukraine-Europe-America format.
The parameters of the mechanisms for using reconstruction funds that will come from international partners have also been determined.
Position on Russia and sanctions pressure
Zelensky noted that the American side is in communication with Russia regarding the basic political framework for ending the war.
"We have formulated our vision, and there must be clear feedback from Russia on whether they are ready to end the war on real terms. If there is no such readiness, the pressure on the aggressor must continue to increase," emphasized the president.
The Head of State also emphasized the importance of strengthening sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet, financial schemes to circumvent restrictions, and the need to maximally limit Russia's export revenues in the event of a continuation of the war.

Zelenskyy thanked all partners who help Ukraine protect the lives of citizens and support diplomatic efforts to achieve a just peace.
"Thank you to everyone in the world who helps us protect life in Ukraine and, despite everything, stay on the diplomatic track," — concluded the president.
