Bloomberg agency claims, that YouTube star MrBeast, with 346 million subscribers, has joined a consortium that will try to buy out the American part of TikTok.
The investor group, which included MrBeast, is led by Jesse Tinsley, founder of Employer.com.
The investors' proposal aims to keep the platform running for 170 million American users while addressing US national security concerns.
It is worth noting that MrBeast is the most popular YouTuber and the third most popular TikTok user.
The agency added that Amazon.com Inc and Oracle Corp, which already do business with TikTok, are also contenders to acquire the social network. However, it is not yet known whether ByteDance has responded to any of the bidders or whether it is considering them at all.
It is also known that China is considering the scenario of selling TikTok's American assets to Elon Musk.
