How to obtain the status of a person with a disability as a result of war - explanation from the CCC

Volyn Regional CCC and JV has explainedwho can obtain the status of a person with a disability as a result of war.

It is noted that this status is granted to military personnel and civilians who have been injured, contused, mutilated or ill during hostilities or other dangerous circumstances related to the defense of the state.

Who is eligible for the status:

  • military personnel and civilians injured during combat operations or on official missions;
  • participants in the ATO, JFO, national security and defense events;
  • participants of the Revolution of Dignity;
  • persons who have been in combat zones abroad;
  • those who performed demining work or other dangerous tasks.

How to apply:

  1. In person - at the veterans policy unit or at the ASNAP.
  2. Online — via:
  • Action portal,
  • Action application,
  • Register of administrative services.

Necessary documents:

  • photo (passport size),
  • extract from the MSEC or other medical report,
  • certificate of no criminal record,
  • documents confirming participation in military or security activities (ATO, JFO, etc.),
  • representative documents (if submitted by a proxy),
  • copy of IDP certificate (if available).

"If a serviceman does not have all the documents, it is enough to submit only an application - the relevant authorities will request the rest. This status is not just a formality. It allows you to receive support and benefits to which everyone who suffered during the war is entitled," — added the CCC.
