The National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum, and the Provision of Postal Services (NKEK) granted the mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine permission to use the destination network code 75 (+380 75).
"The Commission decided to issue PJSC VF Ukraine permission to use the destination network code "75" for a mobile communication network with a subscriber capacity of 10 million non-geographic numbers for the provision of electronic communication services on the territory of Ukraine for a period of five years," the report says meetings of the regulator.
In a comment to Interfax-Ukraine, the press service of the mobile operator clarified that subscribers will be able to choose a number starting with "075" by the end of this year.
Vodafone already has four number codes: 050, 066, 095, 099. The additional numbering resource significantly increases the choice of the desired combination of numbers for new and existing subscribers.
