The Head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration (RSA) Vitaliy Kim expects that in 2026 the war in Ukraine will end and the reconstruction of the country will begin.
Kim expressed his hopes in interview to TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk. He believes that, taking into account the experience of rebuilding Germany after World War II, Ukraine also has a chance to repeat its success.
"In 2026, I expect the war, elections, and the implementation of the Marshall Plan for Ukraine to stop. We will have one chance when investors come to Ukraine, and we cannot miss it," — says the head of the Regional State Administration.
Kim predicts that after the war ends, many foreign investors will come to Ukraine and look for where to invest their money and which startups to buy.
"Now there is already interest in weapons, military technology, but during the war they do not realize it," he noted.
Kim believes that Ukraine should take full advantage of this chance to rebuild and make its economy strong.
"We need to not miss this time. Not to miss it in terms of work, corruption, so that they don't come and go from here," Kim said.
