After a series of attacks on servicemen of territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCS) and explosions in their buildings in Ukraine, a decision was made to strengthen security measures.

In the Poltava region, the number of video surveillance facilities is increasing and security at the CCC premises is being strengthened. As informed Spokesperson for the Poltava Regional CCC Roman Istomin told Radio Liberty that after the attack on a serviceman in Pyryatyn, orders were immediately given to increase vigilance and take additional protective measures.

He noted that security at the premises will be reinforced with additional military personnel. There may be some inconvenience for visitors, in particular, due to a more thorough inspection of personal belongings: "Literally in the first hours after receiving information that there had been an attack on our serviceman, verbal orders were already given, later written ones, regarding how to react, about increasing vigilance. Accordingly, work is also underway now to strengthen the security of the territory, where we have, for example, video surveillance. We have it. But the increase is being made, the increase in people involved in security will, of course, be unambiguous. Perhaps, indeed, there will be certain inconveniences for residents in that they will have to wait longer until the details of their arrival are clarified. Inspection, packages, bags, backpacks, of course, is already being carried out and will be carried out unambiguously."

The possibility of equipping servicemen with chest cameras is also being considered. Istomin believes that this will help avoid controversial situations: "This is my personal opinion, of course, but it seems to me that servicemen would even be in favor of their conversation being recorded, so that in the event of some conflict situation, they are guaranteed to have a video that the conflict was not provoked by them," – said Istomin.

Security measures are also being tightened at military registration and enlistment offices in the Lviv region, but no radical changes are expected, said Oleg Dombrovsky, spokesman for the West Operational Command. According to him, the military registration and enlistment offices are already regime facilities, so the current security measures are mostly sufficient.
