The proposed tariff for water supply and wastewater disposal by Infoxvodokanal LLC at about UAH 100 per cubic meter is unacceptable under martial law. This is a joint position of the city military administration and the local government.
The city authorities emphasized that the tariff revision should not exceed the level previously set by the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Utilities of Ukraine, — 65,54 UAH per cubic meter. In their opinion, this is significantly less than what the company offers, but at the same time it will ensure the stable operation of the water supply and wastewater systems.
At the same time, the approach must be fair. If the financial conditions for the community are revised, Infoxvodokanal's obligations to the city must also be revised, in particular the amount of rent for the use of the community's property complex.
It is separately emphasized that when making a decision, it is necessary to take into account the interests of privileged categories of the population. State subsidies and city targeted assistance should be maintained for them.
At the same time, the heads of the condominium association emphasize that along with the tariff revision, residents should receive quality services, and water supply networks should be properly maintained and maintained in good condition.
