For many internally displaced persons who were forced to leave for other regions of the country due to hostilities, support from the state to pay for housing and communal services is relevant. So, if the sum of all payments (within the established social norms of service consumption) is higher than the mandatory payment, citizens can potentially receive a subsidy, the Ministry of Social Policy reports.
The size of the subsidy is calculated individually for each household. It directly depends on the income of the family: the lower the income, the more the state will cover the costs.
The department emphasizes that when assigning a housing subsidy to the total income, the housing allowance provided to IDPs is not taken into account.
To receive a subsidy for the payment of housing and communal services, internally displaced persons can apply to:
- PFU Service Center;
- Center for the provision of administrative services;
- authorized official of the executive body of the village, settlement, city council of the territorial community.
At the same time, you can apply for a subsidy online using:
- "Diya" portal;
- web portal of electronic services of the PFU;
- mobile application of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
To receive a subsidy, you need:
- Application for subsidy.
- Declaration of income and expenses, in which data on household members who live together are indicated.
- Passport, registration number of the taxpayer's registration card.
- Certificate of IDP status.
It is possible to check whether a subsidy has been assigned for the payment of residential housing by contacting in person the body where the documents for receiving the subsidy were submitted or on the official web portal of the PFU. In the personal account of electronic services, you need to authorize using an electronic signature or through Diya.
The subsidy is provided at the place of actual residence, IDPs can apply for a housing subsidy even without concluding a lease agreement.
