Energy experts believe that it is still incorrect to make forecasts regarding the return to blackout schedules. In particular, due to the impossibility of predicting whether the heat will return. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk on the air of the telethon.
He noted that abnormal heat is one of the factors in the increase in electricity consumption and affects the stability of the power system. Such a trend was observed in Ukraine in July.
"Giving such forecasts (regarding the return to schedules, ed.) is not correct for today, because we understand how long this heat will last, whether it will cover the whole of Ukraine, or territorially, taking into account whether it is the temperature at noon or separately" , — said the Deputy Minister of Energy.
Kolisnyk added that electricity consumption remains an important factor for energy workers. Therefore, Ukrainians are systematically urged to consume light sparingly, in particular during peak hours — from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 17:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m.
"This makes it possible to balance the energy system. That's why we urge you to consume responsibly, and energy companies do their best 24/7 to keep the system running in a stable mode," — he emphasized.
