Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk said that he is considering a political career after completing his sports career. However, he noted that he is not considering any position below the presidency. The athlete stated this in interview Andriy Bednyakov.
During the conversation, the host asked about Usyk's plans for the future. The boxer replied that he intends to stay in the sport for a few more years, after which he wants to devote himself to public service.
"I plan to box for a couple more years, and then I have plans to work for the state," he noted.
When Bednyakov jokingly suggested that Usyk might run for mayor of Konotop, the athlete clearly outlined his ambitions: "Look, I'm not going to go anywhere below the president."
