Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called for a look at Russia's actions amid reports that the United States refuses to call Russia an aggressor in several resolutions. About this Sybiga posted on Sunday on the social network X (Twitter).
The minister noted that Russia launched a record 267 deadly drones over Ukraine tonight, targeting civilians and critical infrastructure.
"This demonstrates that avoiding calling Russia an aggressor does not change the fact that it is one. No one should trust Putin's words. Instead, look at his actions." – emphasized Sibiga.
Recall that, according to media reports, Donald Trump's administration asked Kyiv to withdraw the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly condemning Russia's full-scale aggression and demanding that Moscow withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory.
The US submitted its own draft resolution, much weaker in content, which does not call Russia an aggressor.
The media also reported that for the first time, the American side is opposing calling Russia an aggressor in the G7 joint statement being prepared for the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
