According to Umerov, Ukraine is preparing to receive F-16 aircraft, working on the preparation of both infrastructure and technical equipment. At the same time, the pilots and the technical team are preparing.
"In the short term, we will receive F-16 aircraft. In the medium term, for the future, for the future, we have also made orders for the future for the Defense Force of the Future, but this is 2027-2030. Work is underway, we will receive them soon." - emphasized the minister.
The head of the Ministry of Defense noted: "We are not only discussing the F-16, the list is huge. As I said, there are no limits to technology transfer."
We will remind, earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, made an important statement regarding the appearance of the F-16 in Ukraine. According to him, the work of the Center on training our pilots and technicians for the use of fighters continues.
