According to Umyerov, the implementation of the Sustainability Plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in 2025 for Ukrainian defenders will be more than 30 thousand attack drones DeepStrike.
"Part of these UAVs were financed by our international partners, investing in the Ukrainian defense industry," — he explained.
The minister noted that these drones of the new generation are capable of operating autonomously over long distances and hit enemy targets with high precision.
"The Ministry of Defense continues to increase investments in the development of high-tech systems. This not only meets the needs of the front, but also supports the defense industry, creates jobs and develops Ukrainian technologies", the Minister of Defense added.
According to Umerov, Ukraine is capable of innovation and technological independence.
"Even in wartime, we are developing state-of-the-art production, strengthening our defense capabilities."
