In 2024, Ukraine produced the first hundred units of missile weapons and will increase such production. About this said President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in an evening video message.
"This year, we were able to achieve significant results in several areas. This is also our Ukrainian artillery - our shells, our guns. These are drones — of different types, for different tasks — that not only help the front to defend positions and destroy the occupier, but also strike at Russia at ever greater depths. We will increase it. We crossed the mark of the first hundred units of missile weapons this year." said the head of state.
According to Zelenskyi, now more than 800 companies are working on the production of weapons for the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. The President also noted that for the first time in the years of independence, Ukraine has system models for investment from partners.
"In particular, this is the model of Denmark, which invests and attracts investments in production. We also agreed with France on a slightly different model, also with the involvement of construction technologies of the respective factories. There are also preliminary agreements with other partners regarding the localization of weapons production in Ukraine. This is what will constantly strengthen us." - he said.
