The defense forces need more FPV drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles to maintain the front line. By 2026, Ukraine will be able to create up to 10 million drones. However, this requires funding from partners. About this said Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal following the results of Ramstein.
"In 2026, we will be able to build up to 20 million FPV, ISR and other drones if partners provide the necessary funding," - said the minister.
According to him, there are effective, fast and battle-tested solutions. The Minister thanked Britain for its cooperation with interceptor drones and for providing 85,000 drones this year.
He also reported that important memorandums on defense cooperation were signed with Germany today.
"Today we signed an important memorandum with Germany to strengthen defense cooperation. These are concrete steps to repel Russian aggression and build an effective arsenal of democracy."
A memorandum was also signed on the North-Baltic Initiative to provide Ukraine with training and equipment at the brigade level in Poland.
