Ukraine is increasing the production of shock drones, which have a long range of use and a powerful explosive charge. This was said by the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, on the air of the telethon on Tuesday, June 13.
"Ukraine is not sitting idly by. We also have capacities working at a high level, I mean enterprises that can now produce strike drones. We will be helped by our partners with this weaponry, we will also increase the number of attack UAVs in this direction," he said, commenting on the information about the construction by the Russians of a plant for the production of Iranian Shaheds.
According to him, Ukraine already produces more powerful UAVs that have a long range and a large explosive charge. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the means of combating drones.
"Means of countermeasures also need to be developed - marksmanship, missile, electronic warfare equipment, which can affect the activity of these aircraft," Ignat said.
We will remind you that last night the Russians launched 14 cruise missiles, 11 of which were destroyed by air defense forces. One Shahed-136/131 drone was also eliminated. A total of four were launched.
