The Ukrainian side appealed to the High Anti-Corruption Court with a request to confiscate the property of the Russian company engaged in the production of Kinjal missiles. It is reported Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The department wants to impose a sanction on the joint-stock company "Scientific and Production Corporation "Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering".
Third parties will be declared:
- joint-stock company "NPO "High-current complexes";
- Rostec State Corporation for Promotion of Development, Production and Export of High-tech Industrial Products;
- limited liability company "Scientific-production complex "Fotoprylad".
What the Russian company produces
The Ministry of Justice explained that the joint-stock company "Scientific and Production Corporation "Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering" (JSC "NVC "KBM") is an enterprise in the Russian Federation that develops and manufactures military equipment, in particular, high-precision tactical missile complexes, operational-tactical missile complexes, anti-aircraft missile complexes, anti-tank missile complexes on the order of the Ministry of Defense.
The agency clarified that this strengthens the military potential of the Russian Federation, which involves the specified military equipment in carrying out armed aggression against Ukraine.
According to public information, this company is responsible for the development of the Kinzhal missiles, which the Russians use to attack Ukraine. The company is also engaged in the development of Ka-52M and Mi-28NM helicopters.
It is worth noting that the MiG-31K aircraft is a carrier of the Kinzhal aeroballistic missile. This missile is difficult to shoot down due to its trajectory. Until the spring of 2023, the Ukrainian military did not shoot down the Daggers. However, in May, air defense forces destroyed the Russian "Dagger" for the first time with the help of the Patriot complex, which was provided to Ukraine by partners.
