A new round of trilateral talks between the delegations of Ukraine, the United States and the Russian Federation has begun in Geneva. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov announced this in Telegram.
"Today we are starting another round of negotiations in a trilateral format - Ukraine, the United States, Russia," Umerov noted.
He expressed gratitude from the Ukrainian team to the American side for their involvement and consistent work in the negotiation process, as well as gratitude to Switzerland for organizing and providing the conditions for holding the meetings.
"We have a framework of work and a clear mandate agreed upon by the President of Ukraine. Security and humanitarian issues are on the agenda," Umerov wrote.
According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Ukrainian delegation is working constructively, focused, and without unnecessary expectations:
"Our task is to advance as much as possible those solutions that can bring sustainable peace closer."
