A new function has appeared in the "Army+" application. It allows servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to submit a report for transfer to another unit quickly and conveniently. About this said Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov on Facebook.
From now on, the process of submitting a report is simplified to a minimum and takes only about 15 minutes.
To submit a report, service members will need a military ID or officer's ID, as well as a letter of recommendation from the unit to which they plan to transfer. In addition, in the case of a transfer due to health conditions, an opinion of the Military Medical Commission (MMC) may be required.
The functionality was created to reduce bureaucratic red tape: the commander's consent to submit a report is not required. The request is automatically sent to the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces, where it will be considered within 72 hours.
In some cases, the Personnel Center may turn to commanders for approval, in particular, if the transfer is planned between rear or combat brigades, or if the soldier is an officer or holds an officer position.
In case of refusal to transfer, "Army+" will provide clear reasons. For example, military personnel who have served in their unit for less than 6 months or less than a year has passed since their previous transfer may be refused. All grounds are regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 12, 2024 No. 1291.
