In Sumy region, mandatory evacuation of residents of 11 more settlements has been announced. The corresponding order signed Head of Sumy OVA Oleg Grigorov.
It is noted that the decision was made due to the constant threat to the lives of the population due to shelling of border communities.
According to the document, evacuation is being carried out from the following settlements:
- Horobivka (Richkivska rural community);
- Shtanivka, Voronivka, Yanchenky (Bilopil urban community);
- Tsymbalivka, Shkurativka (Vorozhbyanska urban community);
- Krovne, Mykolaivka, Rudnivka, Spaske, Kapitanivka (Mykolaiv rural community).
The OVA urges local residents not to delay evacuation.
"Staying in a constant danger zone is a direct threat to your life and health," — is stated in the message.
Residents are promised transportation, humanitarian aid, and temporary shelter, as well as social benefits.
The Sumy Regional Emergency Management Agency reminds that, currently, 213 settlements in the Sumy region are subject to mandatory evacuation.
