In Poland, they said that there is a possibility of limiting benefits for Ukrainians abroad who evade the draft. Warsaw believes that this should be a pan-European scheme. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslav Sikorskyi in an interview The Guardian.
He stated that Ukraine should decide and report what to do with conscript men who are abroad.
"I definitely do not believe that there is a right of a person to receive social security for the fact that he evades the draft. Those people who fight at the front also have human rights." said Sikorsky.
According to the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, any scheme to limit benefits should be pan-European, otherwise those who avoid the draft will start buying benefits all over Europe.
