Ukraine will not become a member of the European Union unless the Volyn issue is resolved. About this in an interview with Polsat News Polish Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamys said. According to him, Warsaw supports Kyiv "as much as possible", although in relations between the countries "not everything is perfect due to unresolved historical issues".
"In his opinion, real politics should issue an ultimatum. Without solving the Volyn issue, there will be no accession of Ukraine to the European Union," — the article says.
At the same time, the Polish minister assures that for them only the victory of Ukraine will be the end of the war.
"Any other case remains a direct threat of war for Poland. It is here that the issue of the security of Poland and Europe is at stake," — added Kosiniak-Kamysh.
