The term of legal stay of Ukrainian refugees in Poland has been extended until March 4, 2024. About this the Dziennik Ustaw RP.
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, signed the Law amending the special law on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with Russia's armed aggression.
Such changes concern the right of stay in Poland for Ukrainians who arrived in the country after February 24, 2022, and continue until March 4, 2024. Previously, this term ended on August 24, 2023.
For Ukrainian students of Polish educational institutions, the term of legal stay is extended until August 31, 2024. This rule also applies to parents and guardians of minor pupils and students.
Changes will enter into force in Poland 14 days after the date of their publication.
