A map of non-volatile xPON providers will appear in "Diya"

Launch — January 2026

In Ukraine, a map of xPON providers will appear in the "Diya" application. This will help Ukrainians check whether they will have stable Internet during power outages. About this informed Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

"Ukrainians will be able to check through the "Diya" application whether their home is connected to a non-volatile xPON network. This will help assess the stability of the Internet so that you can plan work or study during power outages. The service will be launched in January 2026," — Fedorov wrote.

According to him, the map will allow you to do the following:

  • see which providers serve a specific home and provide Internet access using xPON technology;
  • find out how many hours the Internet will work in case of power outages.

Fedorov also announced the possibility of leaving feedback and suggestions regarding the quality of the provider's work. This should create healthy competition between providers and generally increase the stability of the telecom infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

"The map will show the real state of renewable internet coverage across the country. It will also make it possible to identify "white spots" and direct resources to where connectivity is needed most — especially in frontline communities," - he summarized.
