US President Donald Trump is open to resuming talks on natural resources with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. However, this will only happen if Zelensky changes his position. This was stated by US President's National Security Advisor Mike Walz, reports Fox News.
According to him, Zelenskyy should apologize for the incident that occurred during past negotiations at the White House.
"We need to hear from Zelensky that he regrets what happened, is ready to sign the minerals agreement and participate in peace talks. This is not too big a request," — said Waltz.
It is worth noting that before that, Volz stated that Ukraine could make territorial concessions as part of negotiations on a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
