US President-elect Donald Trump has said he won't be a dictator — "except for day one." According to his own statements, he will have to do a lot on his first day in the White House. It is reported AP.
His list includes:
- the beginning of the mass deportation of migrants;
- repeal of the Biden administration's education policy;
- reorganizing the federal government by firing thousands of federal employees who Trump believes are secretly working against him;
- pardoning people arrested for their role in the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021;
- to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.
"I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill," he said of his plans for the first day.
Trump's press secretary, Carolyn Leavitt, said there would be dozens of executive orders in the first week.
