US President Donald Trump wants to conclude a $500 million deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for mineral and gas extraction in Ukraine in exchange for security guarantees.
The American president said about this intention in an interview with the publication The New York Post. Trump noted that such an agreement would be acceptable for any potential peace initiative.
He also said, who has already spoken on the phone with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, and, according to him, he allegedly wants "people to stop dying" on the battlefield.
In addition, Trump assured that he has a specific plan to end the war in Ukraine and once again emphasized that a full-scale war "would never have happened" if he were president in 2022.
Regarding Iran, Trump said, that would also like to conclude an agreement on non-nuclear products.
"I would rather do that than bomb the hell out of them. They don't want to die. Nobody wants to die." the head of the White House said.
"If we had made a deal, Israel wouldn't have bombed them," Trump said bluntly.
But he did not reveal details of any potential negotiations with Iran: "I could say what I have to say to them, and I hope they decide they're not going to do what they're thinking of doing right now. And I think they'll be really happy." Trump said veiledly.
As for what he would offer Iran in return, he said: "I can't say that because it's too disgusting. I won't bomb them."
