US presidential candidate Donald Trump is discussing giving part of Ukraine to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to quickly end the war. It is reported Politico.
The publication notes that the desire to quickly resolve the conflict is likely to play a key role in Trump's plans for NATO and the fate of Ukrainian territories.
"The probable candidate for the presidency of the USA (Donald Trump - ed.) is considering the possibility of concluding an agreement according to which NATO undertakes not to expand to the east - in particular, to Ukraine and Georgia. And he is negotiating with Russian President Vladimir Putin about how much of the Ukrainian territory Moscow will be able to keep," — two national security experts who support Trump told the publication.
