US President Donald Trump published a post in which he stated that "the situation for Ukraine is terrible" and Ukraine can either get peace or continue to fight, but then "it risks losing the entire country."
In particular, Trump criticized Zelensky's statement that Ukraine would never legally recognize the occupation of Crimea.
"This statement is very detrimental to peace negotiations with Russia, because Crimea was lost many years ago during the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, and is not even a subject for discussion. No one is demanding that Zelensky recognize Crimea as Russian territory," — Trump wrote.
He also stated that Zelensky could "either agree to peace or fight for three more years before losing the entire country."
According to Trump, he has nothing to do with Russia, but I don't care if soldiers die.
"The statement Zelensky made today will only continue the 'battlefield', and no one wants that! We are very close to a deal, but the man who has 'no cards to play' must finally agree. I look forward to the opportunity to help Ukraine and Russia get out of this complete and utter mess that would never have happened if I were President!", Trump said.
