Relations between Ukraine and the United States continue to develop. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, during a press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, answered the question of whether there is a threat of pressure from the United States to force Ukraine to agree to any agreements.
"We should not talk about pressure, but rather about the development and intensification of our relations with the United States. We see a great chance to accelerate efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace for Ukraine," — the Ukrainian minister emphasized.
He noted that a just peace is a strategic goal for both Ukraine and the United States. This is in the national interests of Americans, as well as the interests of the transatlantic community.
According to Sybiga, Ukraine is interested in further intensifying dialogue with the US at all levels.
"We very much hope that these efforts will lead to this desired outcome of achieving a just and comprehensive peace," - he emphasized.
