Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga has named three key steps to ending the war in Ukraine. He stressed the important role of the United States and the need to increase sanctions pressure on Russia. About this the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports.
According to the minister, Ukraine's security is inextricably linked to transatlantic security.
It has been four months since Ukraine unconditionally agreed to the proposal for a complete ceasefire.
The key task now is to find a diplomatic solution to establish a lasting peace.
Andriy Sybiga noted that the “recipe for ending the war” includes three main components: active role and leadership of the United States; increased pressure on Russia through sanctions and international isolation; strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
"Now is the time to find a diplomatic solution to achieve lasting peace. The Ukrainian people deserve peace," — he emphasized.
The minister also emphasized that investments in Ukraine's defense industry are investments in the collective security of our partners.
"Ukraine, with its daily combat experience and developed defense industry, is already making a significant contribution to this collective security," — said Andriy Sybiga.
