According to the results of the 75th NATO summit, Ukraine will receive additional air defense systems, F-16 aircraft, military aid packages and much more. This was reported by Telegram Ministry of Defence Ukraine.
"In particular, Ukraine will receive 5 newest air defense batteries, including 4 Patriot batteries and 1 Samp/T battery from the USA, Germany, Romania, the Netherlands and Italy. Additionally, the United States, Canada, Norway, Spain, Great Britain and other allies will provide dozens of tactical air defense systems: NASAMS, HAWK, IRIS T-SLM, IRIS T-SLS and Gepard," — said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The full list is as follows:
- military aid package from the US for 225 million dollars. It will include the Patriot system and missiles for it, missiles for NASAMS, artillery shells, anti-tank missiles;
- one Patriot system and missiles to it from Germany. In addition, artillery ammunition, anti-aircraft guns, military engineering vehicles and other equipment;
- $93 million in military aid, 6 F-16 aircraft and spare parts for Sea King helicopters from Norway;
annual aid of £3 billion in military support from Britain (until 2030/31); - a $366 million military aid package from Canada;
- 18 "Bohdan" artillery systems from Denmark, financing of production in Ukraine;
- a $169 million military aid package from Australia;
- anti-drone systems and 5,56x45 caliber cartridges from Lithuania;
- 300 million euros for the purchase of ammunition for F-16 aircraft from the Netherlands;
- a $3,68 million military aid package from New Zealand.
The department added that Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov expressed gratitude to the allies for the new decisions on aid to Ukraine worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
He also announced the use of profits from frozen assets of Russia to support the defense of Ukraine.
