The course of Ukraine will begin: Budanov predicted the end of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces

The Russian Federation was unable to achieve its goals at the front

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanv, said that the offensive operation of the Russian army in Ukraine is currently ongoing, but it will be completely exhausted at the beginning of spring. The Russian Federation was unable to achieve its goals on the front, so soon the offensive of the occupiers, which began in November 2023, will be exhausted and then Ukraine's move will begin. About this said head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov on the air of the telethon.

According to him, Russia's offensive operation has been going on for more than two months now, the invaders have not achieved great results, but they are making some progress.

"You can see the results. To say that they are somehow big for them - well, it will definitely not be true. Unfortunately for us, they have some progress in the fields. And what happened near Avdiivka" - says Budanov.

In addition, as Budanov emphasizes, the Russians wanted to cross the barrier line along the Black Stallion River in the Kharkiv region as soon as possible. In this way, the enemy tried to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, but now "there is nothing even close to that."

"But their offensive continues. Somewhere at the beginning of spring, it will be completely exhausted... Now it is the enemy's turn. It will end and, I think, ours will begin." Budanov concluded.
