Russian President Vladimir Putin's team admits the possibility of holding peace talks to end the war against Ukraine in a trilateral format. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, reports "TASS«.
"The Russian Federation does not rule out that trilateral talks on Ukraine will take place in October," — said the Russian president's spokesman.
On the same day, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Moscow had allegedly not changed its demands for ending the war and that they remained unchanged.
"I would say that the requirements remain unchanged, there is no strengthening. We would just like these requirements to be fulfilled sooner or later, or better yet sooner," Ushakov noted cynically.
It is important to understand that the day before, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, announced that a new round of peace negotiations is planned to be held in October 2026 in a trilateral format.
"We are getting ready. For October," Budanov said.
