A new attack from the air — this time on the central historical part of Odessa. That night, the attack of the Russian invaders was aimed at the central historical part of Odessa.
During the missile attack at night, the enemy hit Odesa region with at least 5 types of missiles of all types of bases: Caliber, Onyx, Kh-22 and Iskander-K, and also used Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
Consequences:
Air defense forces destroyed a significant part of the missiles. The rest caused damage to the port infrastructure, at least 6 residential buildings, including apartment buildings. Dozens of cars were mutilated, facades and roofs of many city buildings were damaged, and windows were broken. 2 architectural monuments were damaged.
At least 22 victims, including 4 children, one person died; 14 people were hospitalized in city hospitals, three of them are children. Emergency medical teams are working on the ground.
There is significant destruction, the Savior-Transfiguration Cathedral (belongs to the diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Russian Orthodox Church) was badly damaged - the largest Orthodox church in the city, which was revived during the independence of Ukraine at the expense of Odessans, as well as other architectural monuments and residential buildings.
As a result of an enemy attack, a private house was destroyed. The rescuers found a woman who miraculously survived from under the rubble. Currently, the relevant services are recording the destruction, after which utility workers will start eliminating the consequences of the attack.
Zhvanetsky Boulevard suffered significant damage: infrastructure was destroyed, nearby houses were damaged.
Other architectural monuments and residential buildings were also damaged, in particular in the area of the Sabaney bridge and the Military Uzvoz.
