The Russian Federation launched a ballistic missile and 146 drones over Ukraine overnight, about 90 of them Shaheds. Air defenses shot down/suppressed 103 enemy drones in the north, south, center, and east of the country. A ballistic missile and 36 strike drones were recorded hitting 22 locations.
People died in the Kyiv region, dozens of houses were injured and destroyed in Zaporizhia, and drone strikes were recorded in the capital and Odessa.
Kyiv
On the night of January 28, Russian troops attacked the capital. In the Holosiivskyi district, a 17-story residential building was hit in the end, causing minor damage to the roof and walls of the technical floor, as well as damage to windows on the upper floors. Cars parked nearby were also damaged.
In addition, the fall of UAV debris onto the roof of a two-story non-residential building caused a fire, which has already been extinguished.
According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.



Kyiv region
In the Bilogorodsk community, a large-scale fire broke out in an apartment on the 7th floor of a seven-story residential building as a result of a Geranium-2 drone attack.
During the fire, rescuers discovered the bodies of two deceased people. Four more people were injured: a woman, two children born in 2016 and 2021 with an acute stress reaction, and a man with poisoning by combustion products.






Kryvyi Rih
The city suffered a ballistic missile strike on an infrastructure facility.
Two people were injured in the attack, a 51-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man. Doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.
Odesa
Russian drones attacked the Odessa region. In the Kyivsky district of Odessa, a drone was recorded hitting the territory of an Orthodox monastery, causing a fire. The drone also hit a private residential building.
According to preliminary information, there are no deaths or injuries.
Zaporizhzhya
Russian forces struck Zaporizhia twice, hitting the courtyard of a high-rise building. The attack caused a fire, damaged more than 100 apartments and about 20 cars, and destroyed at least 12 residential buildings.
Some homes are temporarily without power. Utilities are closing broken windows and clearing the area.
As of 08:00, four people were reported injured: a 38-year-old man and women aged 88, 65, and 55. All received medical attention.
