The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine clarified the procedure for booking conscripts for the period of martial law. From December 1, 2024, bookings will again be available through the Action app. One of the main changes is the requirement that in order to receive a reservation, the employee must be employed at the enterprise until May 18, 2024. Those who took office after this date will no longer be able to claim armored status.
As explained by on the air "KYIV24" People's Deputy from "Servant of the People", member of the Committee on Economic Development Bohdan Kitsak, this rule means that in order for an employee to receive a reservation, he must meet several requirements.
"This means that the enterprises that submit their data for booking, they must not simply respond to the fact that for the last three months this employee receives a salary of 20 thousand hryvnias, or to the fact that the enterprise falls under the status of criticality, which is determined at the level of regional military administrations, after all, this employee had to work until May 18, 2024", said the People's Deputy.
According to Kitsak, only 50% of employees of state agencies, such as the State Security Bureau, the National Police, the Prosecutor's Office, and the NABU, will be able to receive a deferment from mobilization. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine has the right to increase this figure to 100% by separate order.
It is specifically stated that the new criteria apply to both state and private enterprises. The only exception is enterprises working in the field of the defense-industrial complex and weapons production, for which there are separate reservation conditions.
