Trump's 2016 adviser and Republican Party strategist said the Trump administration will ask Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to present his version of a "realistic vision of peace."

And if it is your priority to return Crimea and force American soldiers to fight to return Crimea, then you are on your own." Lanza stated.
According to him, "the return of Crimea to Ukraine is unrealistic" and is not the goal of the United States.
Trump's adviser said he has great respect for the Ukrainian people, describing them as having "the heart of a lion."
But, according to him, the US priority is "peace and an end to killings."
"We want to say to Ukraine: do you know what you see? What do you see as a realistic vision of peace. It is not a vision of victory, but it is a vision of peace. And let's start an honest conversation." - he said.
Trump's adviser also criticized the support that the Biden-Harris administration and European countries gave to Ukraine after Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022.
"The reality on the ground is that the European powers and President Biden did not give Ukraine the opportunity and weapons to win this war at the very beginning, and they could not remove the restrictions for Ukraine's victory." Lanza said.
Trump's adviser emphasized that the new administration will focus on achieving peace in Ukraine, and not on returning territories occupied by Russia.
