The ambassadors of the European Union approved a new package of sanctions against Russia. This was stated by the correspondent of "Radio Liberty" Rikard Jozvyak u Twitter.
"EU ambassadors have just given the green light to the 13th package of EU sanctions. It should be published just before February 24," — he informed.
According to Reuters sources in the EU, the new package covers about 200 legal entities and individuals, but does not contain new sectoral measures.
Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen welcomed the ambassadors' agreement on the 13th package of sanctions against Russia.
