After Russia's nighttime missile and drone strike on Ukraine's energy sector, more than a million subscribers were left without electricity. About this informed Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko in his Telegram channel.
"This night, the enemy dealt painful blows to the Ukrainian energy sector. More than a million subscribers are now without electricity," — Klymenko noted.
According to him, Russia directed missiles and drones at five regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Chernihiv regions. At least five people were injured. The most difficult situation with electricity supply is in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

He also noted that due to the threat of repeated strikes in some regions, rescuers were forced to stop extinguishing the fire.
"For the safety of personnel, we use remote extinguishing - robotic equipment and foam generators," added the minister.
